During webinars in 2025, professionals at Forvis Mazars discussed how leaders at U.S. manufacturing, consumer, and logistics organizations can use benchmarking as a strategic tool to improve performance, efficiency, and quality. Over half of the respondents indicated their organizations are using key Performance Indicators (KPIs), confirming the trend of data-driven decisions. Large companies (over 5,000 employees) and industries that use equipment and machinery whose performance can be tracked consistently (manufacturing, distribution, construction, logistics, and distribution) had higher percentage currently using KPIs. The panelists also highlighted the importance of working with change management professionals regarding change agility.
