The New York band will bring that unmistakable tension to Mexico […] Interpol is set to perform 12 shows in Mexico and the U.S. in 2027 in support of their eighth studio album, 'This Mirror Weighs a Ton', available now through Partisan Records. Deafheaven will join the nine U.K. performances as special guests, except for the March 22 show in Memphis. The album was made at producer Andrew Wyatt’s Arcos studio on Manhattan’�s Lower East Side, marking a return to the part of New York City associated with their earliest performances. Longtime touring bassist Brad Truax contributed both playing and writing to an Interpol album for the first time. The record's title, 'this Mirror Weighed a Ton,' explores identity, perception and the uncertainty surrounding contemporary life.
